Friday prayer

Allah Ta’ala has given special status to Islam by this day and this day is a special gift of Allah Ta’ala for Muslims.

Allah the Exalted said, When the call to prayer is given on the day of Friday, then run towards Allah and stop buying and selling. That is best for you, if you only knew. (Surah Jumu’a verse-9)

According to this verse, after the Friday Azaan, leaving all worldly activities and running towards the mosque for sermons and prayers is an absolute duty. Similarly, activities that disturb Jumu’ah are prohibited.

In this regard, the Prophet (peace be upon him) also said that whoever skips three Fridays for no reason, Allah will put a seal on his heart. According to another source, such a person threw Islam behind his face.

A person asked Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) that a person has died; He did not offer Friday prayers and did not attend congregation. He said, That person will go to Hell. The questioner continued to ask the same question for a month and Ibn Abbas (RA) gave him the same answer.

It is narrated in Hadith Sharif that this day of Jumu’ah was given to the Jews-Nazarenes, but they differed on it. As a result they are deprived of it. And Allah Ta’ala has honored us with the day of Friday, and this day was predestined for the Ummah. The day is the day of Eid for this Ummah. So we all went forward and the Jews-Nazarenes went backward.

Narrated by Hazrat Anas Radiyallahu Tayala Anhu, he said that the Prophet (SAW) said, One day Hazrat Jibraeel (AS) came to me, he had a piece of white glass in his hand; He said: This is Jumu’ah which your Lord has enjoined upon you, that it may be a document for you and for the Ummah after you.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, what is there for us? Hazrat Jibraeel Amin said, “There is a time in this, when someone prays for the fulfillment of one’s good intentions, it is undoubtedly accepted.”

Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A.) narrated that he said – The Prophet (S.A.W.) said, “Of course, there is a time on the day of Friday when a Muslim servant wishes for something good from Allah, it is surely granted to him.” (Bukhari 4/852. Muslim)

I can get that time anytime on Friday. But the ulama say Keram that time is probably before Maghrib Azan, so come! We pray to Allah.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, Friday is the most blessed day of all days. On this day Hazrat Adam (as) was created, on this day he was admitted to Paradise, on this day he was brought down to earth, on this day his repentance was accepted, on this day he passed away and on this day the Hour will take place.

Yawmul Majid is the day of extra reward with Allah Ta’ala, the angels in heaven know this day by this name, Allah Ta’ala’s sister will be gained on this day in Paradise.

On the day of Friday, Allah gave salvation to six lakhs of hell.

Hazrat Ka’b (R.A.) said: Allah Ta’ala has given Makkah the status of superiority over the entire land, Ramadan has been the best of all months, Friday has been the best of all days, and Shab al-Qadr has been the best of all nights.

Even the birds and insects meet each other on Friday and say, ‘Salaam, Salaam’ Good day.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Whoever dies on the day or night of Friday, Allah Ta’ala prescribes for him a reward equivalent to that of a martyr and protects him from the question of the grave.”

On the day of Jumu’ah, when the Darud Sharif is recited to the Prophet (PBUH), it is delivered directly to the Prophet in Madinatul Manoara.

Keeping the blessings and virtues of Juma in front of them, many ulama and Auli-Awliya used to pray to Almighty Allah, O Allah, let our death be on the day of Juma.

Come on! From today we promise that everyone will pray five times a day and make Friday a day of practice with importance and preparation, Insha-Allah.
