What is Bandwidth?

Bandwidth is the measure of how much data will be transferred within a certain period of time.

It can never be Unlimited. This is not possible. If a hosting company tells you unlimited bandwidth, it is completely wrong. It’s their marketing tricks. Seeing unlimited, we run towards it. That’s why they use unlimited sales time.

How to understand how much bandwidth your site is eating First check the size of the page with the web page size checker. Think 200 KB. So if you get an average of 20 thousand visitors per month, 200 x 20000 = 4 GB.

It means that even if 20 thousand visitors come in a month, only 4 GB is being consumed. Suppose you get 1 lakh visitors per month on your website. However, 20 GB is being consumed. So don’t be fooled by Unlimited, buy hosting from real providers. At least those who aren’t cheating. And there are dedicated ip for many visitor sites.

Shared hosting unlimited ssd/hdd?

This is also never possible. They lie to you and buy their services. And the price of ssd is much higher than hdd. Its speed is also very high. The truth is that most of the hosting providers, especially the Bangladeshi providers, provide HDD in shared hosting and sell it under the name of SSD!

Is the price of hosting so affordable?? And unlimited hosting providers keep the limit. As Ram will give very less. File add limit will be given. etc.

If everything was unlimited in this company then there would be no dedicated ip, vps etc. Companies like Facebook, Google used to run their business with shared hosting. Don’t spend crores of rupees on hosting.

And speed test sites can never give a real test. But you can make a guess by looking at it and nothing else.

One more thing. Buy hosting like cheap money. You will also find cheap things inside. Especially continuing HDD in the name of SSD.
