Millions of titles and descriptions like these are posted daily on freelancing marketplaces like statuses. Now after seeing such a post a freelancer gets an option to apply there and go to that option and write the application. Here is a sample of the application:
B. Dr. : The application given cannot be used as a complete copy. Because every application in the freelancing marketplace has to be written in a unique way. But there is really nothing to fear here. You are willing to do someone’s work and you have to apply respectfully writing what experience you have.
For example-
Dear Hiring Manager,
Thanks for posting the project. I have gone through your description & I believe that my skills are ideal for this project.
Over the last 8 years I have been working as Senior Web Developer and developed many E-Commerce websites.
I have the following skills: HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, BOOTSTRAP, WORDPRESS THEME & PLUGIN DEVELOPMENT ETC.
On the other hand I can speak in English fluently which will make our communication easy. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely Tamim
Various freelancers from different countries apply for that circular or project by writing with respect in this way. This application is called a “bid” ie the freelancers bid on the project. Then the person who posted the project is from New York and the rest of the freelancers are from other countries. Many people sleep because of lack of time.
So those who are awake apply. The buyer checks the applications after some time or few hours or even after a day. Much like how we check notifications on Facebook. While checking the buyer, if you like someone’s application, feel trustworthy, then message them. In this case, no freelancer can message him before the buyer. This option is not there. Otherwise everyone will flood the inbox with messages. So the website authorities did not keep this opportunity.
After sending the message, the buyer finds that the freelancer is not online or is sleeping at 3 am in his country. Then if the buyer wants to wait for the answer; Or he messages someone else who is online.
And this is the reason why Bangladeshi freelancers stay up late at night hoping for a project.
After that, the buyer and the freelancer have a detailed conversation in the message. If everything is fine, the buyer hands over the project to the freelancer through the marketplace and gives the project money as security to the marketplace authority (Third Party). But there is no fear of cheating and there is a notification going out to the rest of the freelancers that the desired project has been handed over to so and so.
The freelancer can complete the work within the time given by the buyer or ask for more time if he wants. But if the buyer is very urgent, there is nothing else to do; The freelancer has to complete that task, otherwise the project will be canceled and the marketplace authority will return the deposit to the buyer.
After completing the work, the buyer gives dollars to the freelancer through the marketplace and the freelancer submits his bank account to WITHDRAW or transfer the money from the marketplace. Within 48 hours, those dollars are converted into rupees and deposited into the freelancer’s bank account. Well, that’s how things get done.
Thanks for sharing. I read many of your blog posts, cool, your blog is very good.
