Outsourcing is one of the best professions nowadays. Earning more in less time is the main benefit of outsourcing. But to be a successful freelancer you need to prove your skills as well as qualifications. A few other qualities you should possess are hardworking, humaneness, self-confidence, patience and honesty. Only then it is possible to do good.
What is outsourcing?
The word outsourcing or freelancing basically means free profession. That is, the profession of earning income by working freely. And to put it a little more simply, different organizations do different types of work through the Internet. Outsourcing these tasks to someone else outside your organization is called outsourcing. Those who do outsourcing work are called freelancers.
In outsourcing sites or online marketplaces, tasks are divided into different categories. For example: Web Development, Software Development, Networking and Information Systems, Writing and Translation, Administrative Support, Design and Multimedia, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, Business Services, etc.
What it takes to outsource:
1. Computer / Laptop,
2. Internet Connection / Modem,
3. Some work skills,
4. enough time
Think about what you have. Everyone has numbers 1, 2 and 4 but not everyone can have number 3. That is why it is necessary to make yourself efficient. If the above 4 things are confirmed, let’s move forward. . .
Now open an account on any marketplace. Fill your personal address, email, phone number etc correctly while opening the account. After opening the account you need to go to your profile and create a CV. It should mention what skills you have and what your needs are. You can also give your website link there. Remember, the more beautiful and attractive your profile is, the more likely you are to get a job. So try to make the profile as attractive as possible. Create the profile in such a way that the client can trust you just by looking at your profile.
Once you have finished creating your profile, browse the sites. Do not offer work for the first few days of account opening. Especially on the 1st 4-5 days you can check out the various features of the site. Check the site rules, facilities etc. It will be convenient to work later.
Then slowly start proposing. In the first case it is a little late to get work. It may take 15-20 days. So it should be suggested with patience. Once you can complete the first 2-3 tasks well, you won’t need to look back. Then the client will find you for work.
Important things to know:
There are some important things to keep in mind while working. Some important points are discussed below for your convenience.
1. Rating/Feedback:
After completing a job, the client reviews the work and gives you a feedback on a scale of 1-5 considering the work efficiency and other aspects. This feedback will be visible to everyone in your profile job history. By looking at your feedback, other clients will understand how good you are at the job. So there has to be humanity to do as good as possible. Try to keep 4.5-5 rating feedback. Then you don’t have to worry about work later.
2. Working Time:
The client gives a specific time to complete the work. The same is called deadline or work period. Try to complete the work as much as possible within the given time. If you ever think that you will not be able to complete the work within the specified time, then inform the client before starting the work. Failure to submit work on time may result in you not receiving payment and the client may give you a bad rating/feedback. So be careful about this.
