Who invented electricity?

In the mid-18th century, American scientist Benjamin Franklin first began practical research on electricity. But uninterrupted electricity was not available at that time. Electricity could only be used for temporary periods. The telegraph, invented in 1840, was also powered by batteries. Meanwhile, dynamo was invented in 1831 based on one of Farad’s inventions. But Benjamin Franklin is regarded as the inventor of electricity.

The story of the invention of electricity.

There is an interesting story about Benjamin Franklin’s discovery of electricity. The scientists of that time did not know that lightning in the sky and electricity produced in our homes are the same thing. Benjamin proved that sky lightning and homemade electricity are the same thing. On June 15, 1752, he undertook a dangerous experiment in a gale. That day and night it was raining with strong winds. He flew a silk kite that day. Silk thread was also used in the kite thread. At the end of the thread, he tied a key made of metal to his hand. And the key was at his fingertips. Reasons for taking silk yarn, Silk cloth can transport electrons well. Rubbing a glass rod on a silk cloth attracted a small piece of paper or a piece of wood. It was wet with rain water and the transport capacity increased. Little did Franklin know the danger he was in. As soon as the lightning flashed in the sky, he came down on the wet thread between the keys. A flash of lightning flashed through the key. It is amazing to think how good Benjamin’s fortunes were. Because two people died in this work. What amount of electricity in the sky! The experiment was done by scientist Benjamin Franklin about two and a half years ago.
